Review by Mervyn Murray

1 Up is the debut studio album by American rapper BG Knocc Out. The album was released on June 2, 1995, through Def Jam Recordings.

The album received mixed reviews from critics. Some praised the production and BG Knocc Out's delivery, while others criticized the album for its lack of originality and lyrical content.

The album features several guest appearances, including Eazy-E, Dresta, and Gangsta Dresta. The production is handled by Rhythum D, DJ Slip, and Cold 187um, among others.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "D.P.G. Killa," which features Dresta and Snoop Dogg. The track showcases BG Knocc Out's ability to flow over a G-funk beat and his chemistry with his fellow West Coast rappers.
