Review by Matt Cromwell

Bestial Warlust's eponymous album is a brutal and unrelenting assault on the senses. The Australian blackened death metal band's sophomore effort is a showcase of their raw and primal sound. The album's production quality is intentionally lo-fi, giving the music a gritty and visceral feel that perfectly matches the band's aggressive approach.

The album's opening track, "Death Rides Out", sets the tone for what's to come, with its blistering riffs and pummeling drums. The vocals, delivered in a guttural growl, are almost indecipherable, adding to the overall sense of chaos and brutality.

"Barbaric Horde" and "Satanic" are two standout tracks that showcase the band's ability to blend black and death metal influences seamlessly. The guitar work on these tracks is particularly impressive, with the riffs and solos showcasing a level of technical proficiency that is often lacking in this genre.
