Baransu - IS

Matteo Gualeni aka BARANSU, was born in Brescia in early 1994. He starts to approach the world of music studying drums and especially jazz and electronic music. Since the beginning, Baransu was attracted to the club scene, his vision is contaminated by minimalism and ambient sounds. Inspired by 90s noise scene, ambient movement and minimal techno he sets up his first studio and began producing music in different ways. Influences come from the art and music world with no discriminations of genres. His first work touches the world of ambient music where the most important thing is to express a meaning with the complicity of the image and the video. In the centre of his research there are the world of visual art that goes through video experimentations and sound installations. Michael Barteloni was born on thirty-first May Nineteen-Ninety-four and in the first eight years of his life he had a language delay in the traditional way of expressing, which bring him to communicate by icons, but above all indexical signs. This experience has directed his studies into the field of visual communication, and he graduated with a first in two thousand eighteen at the academy of fine arts in Bologna. This opportunity gave him the opportunity to experiment with graphic design and signs and to analyze the process of formation and learning. Observation as a practice to fix it but at the same time creating a new point of view through the mechanic process, bring him to analyze the organization of forms, based mainly of light and shadows generated by it. Black and white as fundamental acrobatic values,the darkness that penetrates into the light, the light that irradiates darkness: these are the principles of his works, with particular attention to the mechanic process and what this has involved from the XX century and forward, without ever forgetting the pencil.
