Almafuerte - Del Entorno

Review by Susana Barriga

Almafuerte's album Del Entorno is a powerful and passionate collection of songs that showcase the band's unique blend of heavy metal and Argentinean folk music. From the opening track "El Visitante" to the closing ballad "El Pibe Tigre", the album is a tour-de-force of intense guitar riffs, thundering drums, and heartfelt lyrics.

The band's frontman, Ricardo Iorio, delivers his signature vocals with raw emotion and a fierce intensity that perfectly captures the spirit of the music. The lyrics are equally powerful, exploring themes of social justice, political activism, and the struggles of everyday life.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "La Llaga", a blistering metal anthem that features some of the band's most intricate guitar work and driving rhythms. Another highlight is the haunting ballad "La Máquina de Picar Carne", which showcases Iorio's softer side and his ability to convey deep emotion through his singing.
