About Me: About Me I am just a typical almost 33-year-old woman, daughter, sister, friend, coworker, ex-wife, girlfriend, and most importantly MOTHER. I enjoy all types of music, I love to be outdoors, my favorite place to go is one of the Great lakes of this beautiful state I live in, Michigan. I enjoy cooking and spending every moment I have with my children, Layne (my son) who is now almost 10 years old, and Caidence (my daughter) who is 7. I created this blog because of the disapproval I tend to receive from people because of the amount of time I spend away from my children. You see, I am a road construction worker and I spend a great deal of my time ¨on the road¨ and away from my kids. What most people don´t understand are my motives and ¨why¨ I chose this life. So this is my story…. I spend a lot of time on the road and away from my female company so I thought I could use this as a place to share my thoughts and also give some of my people a better understanding of myself and my motivations.
