About Me: Works with Trust for Indigenous Culture and Health (TICAH), a 2016 Women Deliver young leader and the brain behind Sister-to-Sister Initiative, a girls empowerment program in Rural Gem, Sirembe. Elizabeth is passionate about issues of sexual reproductive health and rights. She loves creating safe spaces for women, youth and adolescents to talk about issues affecting their sexual health and rights. Elizabeth service as a mentor to girls both in primary and secondary schools, encouraging them to pursue their education and fight for their rights. Elizabeth holds a Diploma in journalism and Mass Communication from Nairobi Institute of Business Studies and a degree in Journalism and Media Studies with majors in Public Relations from the University of Nairobi. Elizabeth uses her leadership and advocacy training as well as her film production skills to help actualized her vision of the future, a future in which women and girls from all corners of the earth will have a voice and the power to make healthy and informed sexual choices.
