My mother bought me the cassette tape when I was a kid just for this song. It was our special song. She passed away January 2022 and now when I go for walks I always find 26 cents and it just brings me back to this song. How I miss you, mom.

just woke up and my daughter who lives in Georgia (Im in Hawaii) posted a picture simply of a quarter and a penny... missing her mommy. Tears running down my face I search for this song, practiced singing the line "if you get lonely, call me anytime at all..." and called her. I woke up this morning around 4 something with this song on my mind and I don't know why. I have totally forgotten about the song. I just listened to it and it just made me sad listening to it. My grandma passed away 3 years ago, my mama is in bad health, kidneys doesn't function properly, diabetic,64 years of age,i am almost 35 with diabetes and having trouble myself with a possible tumor in my right foot,I have only one child and she's 12 years old and she means the world to me just like i mean the world to my mama and she meant the world to hers.

We haven't heard this song in years, my daughter heard it this morning and posted it to my fb. Brought tears to my eyes that my 40 year old daughter still remembers this song was our song.??
