Review by The DangerousCsharks

The album Violinsonate D dur by Wilhelm Furtwängler, Wolfgang MüllerNishio, and Rudolf Dennemarck is a stunning display of virtuosity and musicality. The three musicians come together to perform a selection of sonatas by composers such as Mozart, Beethoven, and Schubert, showcasing their skill and passion for classical music.

The album begins with Mozart's Sonata for Violin and Piano in B-flat major, K. 454, which is performed with precision and finesse. The second movement is particularly noteworthy, with MüllerNishio's delicate piano playing and Dennemarck's expressive violin work combining to create a beautiful and moving piece.

The Beethoven Sonata No. 9 in A major, Op. 47, "Kreutzer" is another highlight of the album. The musicians' interpretation of this complex and challenging piece is masterful, with Furtwängler's commanding presence on the piano and MüllerNishio's bold and dynamic violin playing.

The album concludes with Schubert's Sonata for Violin and Piano in A major, D. 574, which is performed with sensitivity and grace. The musicians' seamless collaboration and impeccable timing make for a truly sublime listening experience.
