Vöetsek Cold War - Vöetsek Cold War

bigbandrecords

Review by Conor Orion

Vöetsek Cold War's self-titled album is a blistering ode to hardcore punk. The band's sound is raw and unrelenting, with fast-paced, aggressive riffs and pounding drums. The lyrics are politically charged, focusing on themes of war, oppression, and resistance. The album's standout tracks include "Bomb the Embassy" and "The Great Satan," which showcase the band's ability to deliver powerful, anthemic punk rock. Vöetsek Cold War is a must-listen for fans of hardcore and punk music. Its energy and intensity are unmatched, making it a standout release in the genre.

About Vöetsek Cold War

Fast hardcore band from Berlin, Germany. Their music can generally be called powerviolence with a comedy wardrobe. They spent 2 days in a studio and later released a 7" and split 7". A short tour of the UK followed. Changing vocalists, they embarked on a short European tour playing in Germany, Czech Republic, and Poland culminating with their appearance at Napalm Over Warsaw. The band called it quits in 2009.n
