Review by Kirsten Hively

Voyager's album Motion is a dynamic and captivating release that showcases the band's impressive musicianship and songwriting skills. With a blend of progressive metal, symphonic rock, and electronic elements, this album takes listeners on a thrilling journey through a range of moods and emotions.

From the opening track "Severomance," with its soaring melodies and intricate guitar work, to the epic closer "As The City Takes The Night," Motion is a masterclass in modern progressive music. The band's technical prowess is on full display throughout, with complex time signatures and intricate instrumental passages that never feel forced or showy.

But what sets Voyager apart from other prog bands is their ability to create memorable hooks and choruses that stick in the listener's head long after the album has ended. Tracks like "Brightstar" and "Disconnected" are prime examples of this, with catchy melodies and sing-along choruses that are sure to get stuck in your head.

Voyager is the best. Heavy dark groove trance!
Never understood why this one didn't get more play in its time. This is by far the darkest trance I've ever heard. JSD at his best!
when I listen to this I get goosebumps! as a DJ back in the 90s and early 2000s playing trace, Voyager tracks were like the most coveted tracks you would play and try to hide the name because you didnt want any chumps trainspotting these incredibly unique and brilliant tunes.
