I have this LP too! Very interesting record. I collect demonstration records.
would like to find a demo album for fisher, or Magnavox, or Zenith, RCA...
I purchased this LP in 1972 - Still have it and it's in mint condition. This album takes me back to the days of quadraphonic stereo systems and 8-tracks!
i have this LP..had since it was released in 1972..Excellent 4 channel audio.Sounds great on 5.1
Never heard of this demonstration before. This record was made by Fisher Radio, which is the same company that made all kinds of stereo equipment. The only one I have is a BSR turntable from Fisher. Avery Fisher was a true genius who made Fisher a success.
Thanks again for listening to this album. I might have a 1960's Stereo Review magazine stereo demonstration record in storage that I could also post sometime when I find it.
Well, I couldn't resist and started to wade in to your recent list of uploads and found this incredible recording. Avery Fisher is an icon of American ingenuity in developing stereo and was a frequent visitor too the IIT Reserch Institute where I worked. The institute had a sound lab par excellence (this was back in the late 60s). This is awesome Lloyd.
What? Pushing 80 views and no comments ? Too dumbfounded to comment I guess. LOL JK Lloyd these are interesting.
I like finding these abstract demonstration LP records when they show up at the thrift shop. Thanks Mike for checking it out...Friends, Lloyd.
Lloyd ... King of abstract recordings !! But cool non the less !
