Review by Tina Bedwell

The album Red Snerts The Sound Of Gulcher by Various is a must-listen for fans of punk and garage rock. Featuring a diverse array of artists from the underground music scene of the late 1970s, this compilation captures the raw energy and DIY spirit of the era.

From the scorching guitar riffs of The Gizmos to the snarling vocals of MX-80 Sound, the tracks on this album are a testament to the rebelliousness and irreverence of punk rock. The production quality may be rough around the edges, but that only adds to the charm and authenticity of the music.

One standout track is "Can't Stand The Midwest" by Dow Jones and The Industrials, which perfectly captures the frustration and disillusionment of young people in the heartland. Another highlight is "Kamikaze" by The Dancing Cigarettes, a haunting and atmospheric track that showcases the band's experimental side.
