Pantalgia An International Death Metal Compilation by Various is a must-have for any death metal fan. The album features a diverse selection of tracks from some of the most talented and respected bands in the genre. The compilation is a great way to discover new bands and explore different sub-genres of death metal.
The album kicks off with the brutal and intense track "Infernal Inferno" by Brazilian death metal legends Sepultura. Other standout tracks include the technical and melodic "The Void" by Swedish death metal pioneers At The Gates and the atmospheric and haunting "The Book of Suffering" by Canadian extreme metal band Cryptopsy.
The album also features tracks from lesser-known bands, such as the Croatian death metal outfit Defiant and the Australian blackened death metal band Nocturnal Graves. These lesser-known bands more than hold their own alongside the more established acts on the compilation.
