Review by Samson Zhang

Morning Of The Earth Complete Original Soundtrack is a timeless masterpiece that captures the essence of the surfing culture of the 1970s. The album features an eclectic mix of songs from various artists, including G. Wayne Thomas, Brian Cadd, and Tamam Shud, that perfectly complement the stunning visuals of the iconic surf film.

The album opens with the soothing sounds of "Morning Of The Earth," a beautiful instrumental piece that sets the tone for the rest of the album. Songs like "First Things First" and "Open Up Your Heart" are upbeat and catchy, while "I'll Be Alright" and "Sure Feels Good" are more mellow and reflective.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Simple Ben," a hauntingly beautiful song that captures the spirit of the film's protagonist. The track features delicate acoustic guitar work and heartfelt lyrics that are sure to tug at the heartstrings of listeners.

Played this at my husband's funeral. Captured him to a tee- "Just tell 'em.." was his way of dealing with the world. This song is his biography- A life often misunderstood.
Truly this song is the birth of a unique genre of Australian music.
This is so refreshingly applicable in today's social media environment. One hopes the next generation will understand one day.
A great vocal from Terry Hannagan....gorgeous song ...so right for its time.
knew your family , Dad mum Bernard, Mouyra. KEV, Chris and Mary Judith ........ Saw Mick Hadley & Coloured Balls at the Ashgrove Terminus Church Hall 1969 / 70's ..... SteveF
Thrilled.
It took me years to wake up to it (I leant more toward heavier music in my youth) but this is actually a wonderful song. Would be in my top five or six from this album for sure.
This movie featured 2 of Australia's most talented surfers ever... Wayne Lynch and Nat Young. Lynch is shown switch-foot backhand! He is a legend.
Stella film with a killer soundtrack to match
bien relax
I saw and heard Terry perform at Melbourne University around 1972-73 in the Union Theatre in the student union building purely on the basis of having heard his track on the Morning of The Earth film and soundtrack album which I still possess. He was. simply put, a heart warming performer and song writer, and to this day I wonder where he is and what he's doing with that wonderful voice and one lovely old Gibson Humming Bird (could have been a Dove) acoustic guitar. Great stuff and a very fond memory of a fine artist. Where are you now Terry?
