Tom Zé and Tiago Araripe's album "Conto De Fraldas Teu Coração Bate O Meu Apanha" is a unique and experimental work that combines traditional Brazilian rhythms with modern electronic elements. The duo's collaboration results in a dynamic and engaging album that showcases their individual talents and creative vision.

The album opens with the track "Bem-te-vi" which features a catchy melody and upbeat percussion. The song sets the tone for the rest of the album, which is full of eclectic instrumentation and unexpected twists and turns. "O Nome Dela" is a standout track that features a haunting vocal performance from Tiago Araripe over a sparse, atmospheric backdrop.

Throughout the album, Tom Zé and Tiago Araripe experiment with different sounds and textures, creating a sonic landscape that is both challenging and rewarding for the listener. The album's title track is a prime example of this, with its glitchy electronic beats and distorted vocals.

About Tom Zé E Tiago Araripe

(born Antônio José Santana Martins, 1936 in Bahia, Brazil), Tom Zé (a faithful informalization of his given names, literally meaning "Tony Joe") is a Brazilian songwriter and (experimental) composer who was influential in the Tropicália movement of 1960s Brazil. After the military government of the began to crack down Tropicália, Zé moved out of the public eye and began to experiment with novel instruments and composition styles, thus remaining true to the experimental and Dada impulses of Tropicália. He has been noted for both his unorthodox approach to melody and instrumentation, employing various objects as instruments, but remained rather obscure. In the early 1990s rediscovered one of his albums, Estudando o Samba (1975), on a visit to Rio de Janeiro, Zé then was the first artist signed to Byrne's new label.
