This was one of our 2015 archives. Friends a lot (and I mean A LOT!) has happened since then. For starters, this classic could use another 'restoration Pass' (or two) to build on what we did in 2015, especially now. I hope to eventually make that happen at some point. But there is much more work to do. Let me explain.
In the summer of 1971, I was celebrating with my brother prior to him leaving for active duty with the US Air Force. We went to Port Clinton, OH and flew the Ford Trimotor to South Bass Island (Put-In-Bay) on Lake Erie. The Vietnam war was raging, and we didn't know what would happen. This song was playing on the radio at the time as road bicycles around the island. It was a beautiful tune providing a beautiful memory : )
