The album "The Swan of Tuonela Lemminkäinen's Return" by Thomas Jensen conducting the Danish State Radio Symphony Orchestra is a mesmerizing and enchanting collection of classical music. The orchestra's performance is impeccable, and the conductor's interpretation of the music is masterful.

The album opens with the hauntingly beautiful "The Swan of Tuonela," a tone poem that features a solo English horn. The orchestra's delicate and precise playing perfectly captures the melancholy and mournful mood of the piece. The following tracks, which are all from Jean Sibelius' "Lemminkäinen Suite," continue in the same vein, with the orchestra's playing taking the listener on a journey through the mythical world of Finnish folklore.

One of the highlights of the album is the track "Lemminkäinen's Return." The orchestra's playing is full of energy and excitement, and Jensen's conducting brings out every nuance of the music. The brass section in particular shines in this piece, with their powerful playing adding to the sense of triumph and victory.
