Review by CORA METZ

Stu Francis' album, "I Could Have Crushed A Grape Fat Lipped Boogie," is a fun and lively collection of tracks that will get anyone up and dancing. From the first notes of "Fat Lipped Boogie," the album exudes a sense of energy and excitement that never lets up.

The music itself is a mix of classic rock and roll, blues, and boogie-woogie, with Francis' signature sound and style tying it all together. His vocals are powerful and soulful, perfectly complementing the driving rhythms and catchy melodies.

Standout tracks include "Shake Your Hips," a funky and infectious tune that will have listeners moving their bodies, and "I Could Have Crushed A Grape," a rollicking rockabilly number that showcases Francis' impressive guitar skills.

The production on this for vinyl from back then is actually pretty good, it’s a crap song but it reminds me of the how vinyl sounded back then
Few people are aware that this is a translation of the original French classic by Claude François: ‘Ooouh, je pourrais écraser un raisin”
I haven't heard this song before. Normally a music snob, but this really made me smile. Up there with some of Frank Sidebottom and John Shuttleworth's finest. As someone who has struggled with bipolar depression, I feel this is a real tonic.
Apparently he committed suicide a few years later by jumping off a dolls house
I prefer the B side:
I told a fib.
Sincerely, one of the most significant social artifacts of the 20th century. Cynically denied its place in the wider public conscience by Radio 1 refusing all airplay, banning it for the apparent violent overtones of its lyrics.

"I never wrote anything as good. Frankly, our kid, I could squeeze a lemon." - _Paul McCartney, 1985_
My god what was wrong with us back then ?
Stu Francis makes £300 billion a year in Bitcoin on the residuals for this song.
Crush grapes mate - you're a grape crusher. Next.
Bastard jumped on my sister's doll's house and ripped my tissue when I had a cold.
I crushed a grape today, it let out a little whine.
Timeless classic.
Life is weird.
RIP Stu Francis in the Bolton panto.
Ooh I could grab a granny - Wayne Rooney
I'll have to sing this in Japanese at some stage though I'll have find the lyrics in English, translate it into Japanese and get together with a Japanese vocal coach to make it happen first.
1:31 unravel me grannies knickers! (knitting)
great!
A load of fucking crap
"Topaz Records. Manufactured and Distributed by Spartan Records." Weird!
Please tell me he never played for Kiddy Fiddler FC
