Boerum Palace, the latest album by American guitarist and songwriter Steve Gunn, is a masterpiece of contemporary folk and Americana music. The album features eight tracks that showcase Gunn's exceptional guitar skills, poetic lyrics, and unique vocal style.
From the opening track, "Old Strange," Gunn's intricate fingerpicking and melodic guitar lines immediately draw the listener in. The song's haunting lyrics and gentle rhythm set the tone for the rest of the album, which explores themes of love, loss, and self-discovery.
Other standout tracks on Boerum Palace include "New Moon," a dreamy, introspective ballad that showcases Gunn's delicate falsetto, and "Morning is Mended," a driving, upbeat tune that features some of the album's most intricate guitar work.
