Static Flux's album, Intake, is a masterpiece of electronic music. The album features a mix of heavy beats, intricate melodies, and haunting vocals that will leave the listener mesmerized. The tracks are all expertly produced, with each one showcasing the band's musical prowess and creativity.
One standout track is "Blackout," which features a driving beat and a hypnotic synth line that builds to a powerful climax. The vocals are haunting and ethereal, adding an extra layer of depth to the already impressive track. Another standout is "Fracture," which features a more subdued, atmospheric sound that still manages to be captivating. The track builds slowly, with layers of synths and percussion building to a beautiful crescendo.
US Based Reagan Denius obviously had a mis-spent youth listening to our favorite deep space progster John "Space Manoeuvres" Graham. The layers of space-junked, deep, moody but melodic prog shine through here. 4 tracks, all which reflect a darker sound on Lost Language. Reagan first came to our attention when his "Narcosis Breaks Mix" bootleg of Stage One appeared on the scene. We liked it so much we asked him to record some original tracks. 4th Largest Part & Intake were the first offerings.. both festooned with interstellar vibes. Later on Deal and Xenocrsyt emerged... still on the slow, low and proggy tip. For added bonus we also include the ambient mix of the lead track "Intake". .............."Negative... Didn't go in... Just impacted on the surface".
Intake is a fantastic album that showcases Static Flux's talent and creativity. The band has created a unique sound that is both beautiful and intense, and each track is a testament to their skill as musicians and producers. Anyone who enjoys electronic music should definitely give this album a listen.
