Humans are designed to be reared by parents and, in my humble opinion, grandparents as well. We learn our behaviors from those before us, and round them out with learning the behaviors of those past them.
Because humans are creatures of imitation, they copy the parent's behaviors as they were 'successful' thus creating the "hate cycle".
That's what this is about.
