Review by Ali Asghar

The Spinners' album フィラデルフィアより愛をこめて is a classic soul album that showcases the band's incredible harmonies and smooth vocals. Released in 1974, the album features some of the group's most popular songs, including "I'm Coming Home," "Love Don't Love Nobody," and "Mighty Love."

The album's standout track is undoubtedly "I'm Coming Home," a soulful ballad that showcases the Spinners' incredible vocal range and emotional depth. The song is a classic example of the Philly soul sound that was popular in the 1970s, with its lush orchestration and soaring vocals.

Other highlights on the album include "Love Don't Love Nobody," a funky, upbeat track that features some incredible bass playing, and "Mighty Love," a mid-tempo love song that showcases the group's incredible harmonies.

Still sounds GREAT. Thanks.
Im 30 and always loved dis
In 72 I was 14, mature physically and mentally for my age and loose on Manhattan. I knew every inch of that city from CBGB’s to The Eagle’s nest to The GAA Firehouse on Spring Street. This song was played everywhere. It was considered a disco piece and I loved it then as I do know.
Far OUT cool music.
Im a 80s baby
Top notch music...
This old school love. When love songs meant something!
I'm a deep & heavy rock head, Hendrix, Cream, funk head, fusion head, folk head, deep blues head, rock n roll head, modern jazz head, Brazilian & Latin music head, African village music head, but my biggest head of all is soul music, 60s/70s, no wot I meen.
My first kiss with my future husband was to this song. I laughed after he kissed me, and he asked why I was laughing..I said the song..He said do you think it means something.? .At that moment a bright, brilliant star flashed across the sky. I said oh yes! It means a Great Deal. 3 years later we were married.
He was taken from me way too early and the night he was taken I was out walking "his" dog, crying my eyes out and asking him does he hear me.? .Right then a bright, brilliant, green falling star appeared right over my head.. Green happened to be my birthstone and what he would buy me every year on our anniversary. He heard me, I was sure of it. That was almost 7 years ago and I still talk to him every night..and miss him everyday.
A beautiful song and a great memory
Love you Spinners❤️ Your music will always bring me joy 4 ever!
I'm 52 and was a baby when this came out......and as a drummer I love this. The arrangements are just amazing with the orchestra.....mind blowing vocals......R.I.P. Bobby!!!
It bothers me that PBS would have white singers attempting to recreate this greatness.
This one's for you Daddy R.I.P Pops I love you man I miss you man
♥️2022♥️

for years I thought Phillipe was the lead singer on this entire song and was surprised 2 find that Bobby was singing (I was 13 when this song came out). their voices sound so much alike.
Nice blast from the past!
