Shoot - On The Frontier

Review by franklegal

On The Frontier by Shoot is an album that showcases the band's raw, unbridled energy and unapologetic attitude. From the opening track "Wildfire" to the closing "Outlaw," the album is a journey through the wild west of rock and roll.

The guitar work on this album is particularly impressive, with blistering solos and catchy riffs that will have listeners tapping their feet and nodding their heads. The vocals are equally impressive, with the lead singer's gravelly voice perfectly complementing the hard-hitting instrumentals.

What sets On The Frontier apart from other rock albums is its ability to seamlessly blend genres. The band incorporates elements of country, blues, and even punk into their music, resulting in a sound that is uniquely their own.

Comments

This upload needs to come down. It skips, is tinny, and doesn't do the song justice. "Remix?" Where is this version from? Was unaware of anything but the original Shoot album, which I bought at Peaches in STL in the '70s, just as a reviewer on Sepia Sister did. Glad it's on Amazon. Waiting for a digital remastering.

Hey,thats right,"Well how much Are you willing to give me?"
Formed in 1972 by ex-Yardbirds drummer Jim McCarty, Shoot boasted an impressive line-up culled from prominent period bands including Renaissance, Third Ear Band, Cochise, Manfred Mann’s Chapter Three and Raw Material.
