I always remember this from the "Top Ten @ 12:00" show

Always loved this song. Have it on cassette somewhere. Did they open for PiL at the Orpheum in 1980?
If you and I had never met
You and I would have less to forget
Things went wrong, you recollect
Now you think we just might reconnect
When I think of you, I think of sex
When I think it through, I'm glad you're my ex
But then again, I still love you
But then again, I'm glad you're my ex
We split up, and traded threats
Time went on, we both had our regrets
You told me off, I'm so upset
But when you called, I knew you were all wet
When I think of you, I think of sex
But when I think it through, I'm glad you're my ex
But then again, I still love you
But then again, I'm glad you're my ex
My ex, my ex, my ex, my ex
my ex, my ex, my ex, my ex,
my ex, my ex, my ex my ex, my ex
You gave me a big complex
But when we talk, I have that old reflex
So if you're out of town, just call collect
and if I'm out of bounds please just dial direct
And when I think of you I think of sex
When I think it through
I'm glad you're me ex
But then again, I still love you
But then again, I'm glad you're my ex
My ex, my ex, my ex, my, my ex, my ex
my ex, my ex, my ex, my, my ex, my ex
my ex, my ex, my ex
Mighty mighty boss tones
We played the heck out of this record at WJSC in Vermont. Great song.
Love these guys. Saw them live at Celebration in Kenmore Square!
Boston music scene back then was incomparable -- so good that BCN used to play the Local Top 3 after the weekly national Top Ten! This made #1 on the Local 3, I think at least 2 weeks in a row...
I saw them in the MOB at UNH back in 1983, they are a long time favorite. I made a deal with MY EX to get my vinyl back just so I could get this one and a few others... Also many mentioned WBNC, I miss them, in the 80's they played the best music.
I saw the Sex Execs with the Peter Dayton Band back in the 80's. I forget the name of the club, but it was right next to Faneuil Hall.
For any Boston music fans in LA on 6/20/14, we're doing "Boston Rocks Wicked Awesome 1st Anniversary" at SPIT at The Faultline in Silver Lake! Search around on Facebook for the event link!
how can we contact these guys? i saw them and want them to come to los angeles!
I saw the Sex Execs at Kayo's in Portland, ME. You could dance to it and I did.
@IAmALuckyPerson Seriously?!? That is so cool -- I absolutely LOVED this song when I was in college -- you've got a very cool dad.
I still has this 12
This was my #1 song to play on my radio show at WESS University Radio - East Stroudsburg . LOVE IT ! tomdavisDOTcom
I had the EP too. Saw them live. Great group!
