Its like tauhgt me something horrible but learn about that reality is also make me happy and after all of that I reborn as better with knowledge and accepted of pain and suffering everything around me
That dissonance at 6:22 gets me every time. Sounds like a great epiphany or something like that
Hapiness, sadness , empathy , love This song brings out all of them. It is a Godsend

Une pure merveille ❤️❤️
Very good.
Probably the best version on YT.
I feel as if my soul is sucked away into this masterpiece full of compassion and sorrow
Hermosa melodia
This peace of music made the movie "Platoon" so much better. I literally felt Elias pain when he was on the run and got shot by multiple VC. The tragedy could not be better displayed than by this music.
I came here from the William Orbit synth version of this inspired Barber piece. But I just listened to this Bernstein version, and it restored my faith in an actual orchestral version of Barber's Adagio. Usually the beginning strings sound thin and fragile and the same, as the theme is repeated throughout the piece. That's why I loved the Orbit version on the synth which gave a fullness and believability to the opening theme. But Bernstein has nailed it! Thanks, to an amazing conductor and the great talent and experience of the musicians here. I am officially blown away.
Thanks
Original soundtrack' from movie Platoon.
This was mentioned on Curiosity Daily podcast, so I listed to this for the first time today. What beautiful music this is and it invokes such emotion.
