Frösöblomster by Rolf Björling is an album that showcases the beauty and simplicity of Swedish folk music. The album is a collection of traditional Swedish songs, beautifully arranged and performed by Björling. The album is a perfect blend of traditional and contemporary styles, with Björling's unique voice and guitar playing bringing new life to these timeless songs.

The album opens with "Sov du lilla videung," a beautiful lullaby that sets the tone for the rest of the album. Björling's voice is soft and gentle, perfectly capturing the mood of the song. The album continues with "Jag vet en dejlig rosa," a song that showcases Björling's guitar playing. The delicate fingerpicking and subtle harmonies create a beautiful, dreamy atmosphere.

Throughout the album, Björling's voice and guitar playing are complemented by a variety of instruments, including accordion, fiddle, and mandolin. The arrangements are simple and understated, allowing the beauty of the songs to shine through.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Ack Värmeland, du sköna," a classic Swedish folk song that has been covered by many artists over the years. Björling's version is stripped down and intimate, with his voice and guitar taking center stage. The result is a hauntingly beautiful rendition of a beloved song.
