About Ragnarök
Swedish progressive jazz rock band formed in 1972 in Kalmar by Peter Bryngelsson, Henrik Strindberg and Staffan Strindberg. They were mainly active during the 1970s and 1980s, and recently reformed.
They toured extensively during the 1970s, both in regular venues as well as at schools and in prisons. They also worked a lot with theater for children together with theatre group Byteatern. Their music has been described as atmospheric, instrumental rock, and as progressive jazz rock.
Over the years, a total of 27 people have been part of the band, and they've played more than 800 gigs (most recently in 2019 at Progg & Visfestival in Löderup) in nine countries, and have released six studio albums and one live album.
