Higher is the seventh studio album by French industrial metal band, Treponem Pal. Released on October 25, 2019, this album features nine tracks that showcase the band's signature sound of heavy riffs, distorted guitars, and aggressive vocals.
The album begins with "Are You Ready," a track that sets the tone for the rest of the album with its intense drumming and dynamic guitar riffs. "Backstabber" and "The Monolith" continue the heavy sound with their relentless energy and powerful vocals.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Hazy Shade of Black," which features a more melodic and atmospheric sound. The song builds slowly with haunting vocals and a haunting guitar riff, before exploding into a powerful chorus.
Another standout track is "Freak Machine," which features guest vocals from American singer and musician, Burton C. Bell. The song has a more industrial sound, with electronic beats and distorted vocals, making it one of the heaviest tracks on the album.
