Review by Marvin Lee

Live At The Opera House by Pointer Sisters is a fantastic album that showcases the group's incredible talent and energy. The live recording captures the excitement of the audience and the performers alike, making for an unforgettable listening experience.

The album features many of the Pointer Sisters' greatest hits, including "I'm So Excited," "Jump (For My Love)," and "Neutron Dance," all of which are performed with the same passion and skill that made them hits in the first place. The group's harmonies are tight, and their vocals are powerful and soulful, leaving no doubt as to why they were one of the most popular acts of the 80s.

In addition to the more upbeat tracks, Live At The Opera House also includes some beautiful ballads, such as "Slow Hand" and "Fire," which showcase the group's versatility and range. The arrangements are excellent, with the musicians providing a solid foundation for the sisters' vocals to shine.

I was at this concert and it was nothing short of perfection!!!!!!!
Bongolicious77, could you please upload "Black Coffee" from this album?
The CD was on amazon sometime ago as I purchased it.
The Pointer Sisters are still untouchable after all these years. They are the reason I enjoy classic music like this. Found this on CD some years back and I still love it.
I agree the BEST album they ever did and yes it is out on cd but you may have to take out a second mortgage to pay for it at this moment in time!
It is available on CD and the sound is much improved!!! @ Amazon.com
Jada loves you Anita she never left you
Such a beautiful song written for a beautiful young lady and sung by her family! R.I.P. Jada, June and Bonnie!
It took me almost 20 years to find this on CD. Thanks to a Japanese girl in her home country that was really into soul music. She posted on EBay and made my day! Sounds better on CD than the album I wore out.
Superb album, have it on vinyl but doesn't seem to be available on CD!
R.I.P.Jada...
Love them, I remember we saw them live at Roseland when they did there first NY show date, thrilling, I'll never forget it!
Hampton Beach Casino, packed to the rafters.....1979
The syncopation was fabulous going from the slow "Yes We Can Can" right into "There's Love in them There Hills" with the sonics going from slow to the more uptempo song just by inserting the sound effects at twice the tempo of the the first song. Seamless, and classy as Hell! There was NOTHING that sounded like them at that time. They were sensational! Saw them when they did this. It was goose bumps all the way!
Poeh. Indrukwekkend.
The greatest album I ever owned, danced the shit out of me on this, back then...
i remember getting this album as a kid just to here the live version of this song
