Review by Mohamad Slamet Hermawan

Idrissa Diop's album Amoney is an impressive collection of Senegalese music that showcases the artist's versatility and skill. The album features a range of traditional and contemporary styles, from the upbeat rhythms of mbalax to the soulful melodies of jazz.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Sourire de l'Amour," a romantic ballad that features Diop's smooth vocals and a beautiful saxophone solo. Another highlight is "Amadou," a lively mbalax tune that will get listeners dancing.

Throughout the album, Diop's band provides a tight and dynamic backing, with skilled percussion and guitar work. The production is also excellent, with a crisp and clear sound that allows each instrument to shine.
