Waihirere Maori Club's album "Maori Songs and Hakas" is a beautiful and powerful collection of traditional Maori music. The group's rich harmonies and strong vocals are on full display throughout the album, which features a mix of well-known songs and lesser-known gems.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "E Rere Taku Poi," a lively and upbeat song about the joys of dancing. The group's energy and enthusiasm are infectious, making it impossible not to tap your feet along with the rhythm.
Another highlight is the haka "Ka Mate," which is perhaps the most famous of all Maori war dances. Waihirere Maori Club's rendition is powerful and stirring, with the group's voices and percussion coming together to create a truly unforgettable performance.
