Placebo's sixth studio album, Black Eyed, is a haunting and introspective journey into the darker corners of the human psyche. Lead singer Brian Molko's signature vocals are as powerful as ever, conveying a sense of vulnerability and raw emotion that is sure to resonate with fans old and new.
From the opening track, "Kitty Litter," to the closing ballad, "Broken Promise," Black Eyed is a masterclass in alternative rock. The album's themes of love, loss, and addiction are explored with a raw honesty that is both refreshing and cathartic.
The standout tracks on the album include "For What It's Worth," with its haunting piano melody and Molko's emotive vocals, and "Devil in the Details," a driving rock anthem that showcases the band's signature sound.
