Good quality film and they left the period commercials in. Great.
Jack Webb could and Did Everything ✔️??He also had his repertory of talented actors ,Virginia Gregg,Vic Perrin, ex wife Julie London and even her husband Bobby Troup plus countless other greats to star in all his projects for over 50 years ! Thank's Mr.Jack Webb
You never get a bad time if Jack Webb is involved. They don't make 'em like him any more.
What happened to the casting segment? Webb hit it out of the ballpark with Andy Devine in sort of a cameo. This movie one of my all time favorites...at 87 years of age!
Thanks so much for this great post. The real thing.
Grande postagem, parabéns.Rogério Torres Brasil
Wow!! Thanks for sharing! One of my favorite movies of all time. Brought tears to my eyes because my dad had a copy of this film on 16mm. We watched it so many times. Love the music too. Too bad Janet Leigh was not part of the show. What a great era for films!!
I echo the thanks. What a treat. I always found it ironic that a great trumpet man like Dick Cathcart ended up on the Lawrence Welk show.
This is spectacular!! Ty so much for posting this. I have been a trad jazz fan since birth and one of the first groups I heard was Pete Kelly's Big 7. I have been looking for this video for years. It is fantastic to finally see it. That group was amazing. It's a shame that more material doesn't exist of them. Cathcart was very Bix like in his approach to both ensemble and solos, simply the best. Ty, Ty, Ty!!!
