Just listened right through... yet again. Just fabulous, solid, non-stop musical invention start to epic finish, and against the whole back story of Paul's post-Beatles critical mauling, then the bailing-out of half the band (those rabbits on the run) on the eve of recording, possibly the most triumphant "fuck you!" in pop history. Go Paul.

The Best Album McCartney made after"closing"The Beatles. Wonderful songs and It sounds just amazing . Who's the poor soul who hears "Band on the run" (song) and doesn't begin to dance? ???.
It's kind of funny to look back and remember this now, but being born in 1965 I did not really discover the Beatles until the early 80's (Stars on 45 medley kinda got it rolling for me.) But Paul McCartney and Wings I listened to all the time. So Paul was famous to me before I really even knew who the Beatles were.

My favorite song. Seen McCartney live a few times in my life and there's so many #1 songs by him and this song kills live. The sound shakes you to the core.

“Picasso’s Last Words” gotta be some of the laziest songwriting by Paul. It only served to make the album unnecessarily longer.
