Review by Ben Armicron

Après la PluieSatie is a beautiful album that showcases the talent of both Pascal Rogé and Erik Satie. The album features a collection of Satie's most beloved compositions, performed with precision and finesse by Rogé. The title of the album, which translates to "After the Satie Rain," sets the tone for the music, which is reflective and introspective.

Rogé's interpretation of Satie's works is masterful, with each note and phrase carefully crafted. His playing is delicate and nuanced, bringing out the subtle textures and rhythms in Satie's music. From the melancholy Gymnopédies to the playful Gnossiennes, Rogé's performance is captivating and engaging.

The album is beautifully recorded, with a warm and inviting sound that draws the listener in. The piano tones are rich and full, and the recording captures every nuance of Rogé's playing. The album is a perfect showcase for Satie's music, and Rogé's performance brings a new level of depth and emotion to these timeless works.

what if you gave me a tiny, seemingly insignificant gift that coincidentally takes all of my deeply rooted insecurities and crushes them. what if we were all alone behind the full moon while everyone was asleep. what if we were both entirely different people but just *work.* what if, imagine, we were both pirates
Musical Monet...❤️
So beautiful what is depicted through the effortless genius of Satie
I studied classical piano but what brought me here was the Peter Sellers movie, "Being There" which is a multi-faceted classic in itself.
I am learning this piece after busting my ass off learning minute waltz, then failing at Funeral March... it feels so nice to play something not too technical or fast....

I can spend time working on my expression more
This composition is beautiful, and I hate that I found it through a HOI4 mod...
I'm in Love with this beautiful melody ❤️
Art, no matter what you are.
It’s happy but in some kind of sarcastic way, almost like he sees the humor in tragedy.
I love that every comment on here from the last 6 months is about Our Flag Means Death
Beach kisses and moonlight and a rather exquisite cashmere❤
I'm not coming at this via the prism of gay pirates (as apparently, so many others here are). I just decided to extend my usual listening habits and happened upon this thing of such beauty. It actually speaks to me of feminine elegance, but then I like girls
