Review by Shunta Saito

The Ostrobothnian Chamber Orchestra has released an exceptional album titled Mikko Heiniö Hermes Etc, featuring Juha Kangas, Juhani Lagerspetz, and Camilla Nylund. This album is a testament to the orchestra's talent and dedication to their craft.

The album's first track, "Hermes, op. 86," sets the tone for the rest of the album with its energetic and lively performance. The orchestra's precision and attention to detail are evident in every note, and the result is a stunning piece of music that captures the listener's attention.

Another standout track is "Concerto for Violin and Orchestra, op. 29," featuring soloist Camilla Nylund. Nylund's performance is breathtaking, and the orchestra's accompaniment is nothing short of excellent.

Throughout the album, conductor Juha Kangas leads the orchestra with poise and precision, bringing out the best in each piece of music. Juhani Lagerspetz's contributions on the piano are also noteworthy, adding depth and complexity to the orchestra's sound.
