NOMO's self-titled album is a unique and captivating blend of jazz, Afrobeat, and funk. The album features a variety of instruments, including horns, percussion, and keyboards, which come together to create a sound that is both complex and infectious.
The album's opening track, "Nu Tones," sets the tone for the rest of the album with its pulsing rhythms and intricate melodies. The following track, "Divisions," features a hypnotic groove punctuated by bursts of saxophone and trumpet.
Other standout tracks include "Better Than That," with its catchy hooks and driving beat, and "Bumbo," which showcases the band's virtuosic musicianship.
