Genius
I remember
Undoubtedly one of the greatest lyricists produced by the Caribbean. Never crowned calypso monarch but his legacy surpasses many a monarch.
Good
May God bless ur soul merchant
Its ah shame how some fellow calypsonians treated him because of his ailment, called him Dr. Genius all kind of nice names, but wen he need them most they do like they doh know him. HYPROCRITES!!!!!!!! . HE WAS AH GENIUS.
As I have said in some of my other posts, they don't make them like this anymore. I echo all of you guys sentiments and postings. a great loss to the calypso world. I am surprised that the T&T authorities have not made all of these songs national treasures or honour these guys. What a shame!!
they just don't make them like this anymore.......RIP Merchant
