The Twisted Book by Kwannon is a unique and captivating album that showcases the artist's talents and creativity. With a mix of electronic, hip-hop, and experimental sounds, the album takes the listener on a journey through different genres and moods.
The opening track, "Echoes," sets the tone for the album with its haunting melody and atmospheric soundscapes. The following tracks, "Black Mirror" and "Lost in Translation," are more upbeat and feature catchy hooks and infectious beats.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "The Last Samurai," which features a beautiful piano melody and a powerful vocal performance by Kwannon. The lyrics are introspective and thought-provoking, adding depth and emotion to the song.

About Kwannon
Kwannon is the ethereal/wyrd folk project of Jenne Micale, formerly of the strange folk band Belladonna Bouquet. Shoshen, Jenne's true love and an accomplished percussionist, also has joined the project, especially for live performances.
Jenne's influences range from medieval and ethereal music to opera, chant, Pagan ritual and thealogy, Victorian and Romantic poets, and the Carmina Gadelica. A classically trained singer, Jenne also uses instruments from around the world, such as the kantele, mountain dulcimer and harp, giving her music a touch of the mysterious and otherworldly.
