Jimmie Rodgers' fifth studio album, My Little Lady Jimmie The Kid, is a wonderful collection of country and western songs that showcase his unique style and musical talent. Released in 1963, the album features 12 tracks that are a perfect blend of traditional country and western music with a touch of rock and roll.
The album's title track, "My Little Lady Jimmie The Kid," is a catchy and upbeat tune that sets the tone for the rest of the album. Other standout tracks include "My Rough and Rowdy Ways," "Jimmie's Mean Mama Blues," and "Pistol Packin' Papa."

American country singer, guitarist and songwriter (born September 08, 1897 in Meridian, Mississippi - died May 26, 1933 in New York City, New York).
In the early 20th century known most widely for his rhythmic yodeling. Among the first country music superstars and pioneers, Rodgers was also known as The Singing Brakeman, The Blue Yodeler, and The Father of Country Music.
Inducted into Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1970.
Inducted into Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 (Early Influence).
Inducted into Country Music Hall of Fame in 1961.
