Jerry Murad's Harmonicats' album, Theme From The Avengers, is a delightful and energetic collection of harmonica renditions of some of the most iconic superhero themes. The album features 12 tracks that are expertly arranged and performed by the Harmonicats, showcasing their incredible musical talent and creativity.

The album opens with the instantly recognizable theme from The Avengers, which sets the tone for the rest of the album. From there, the Harmonicats take on classic themes from Superman, Batman, Spiderman, and other beloved superheroes, infusing each track with their own unique style and flair.

One standout track is the Harmonicats' rendition of the theme from The Incredible Hulk, which features a driving rhythm and powerful harmonica solos that perfectly capture the intensity and power of the character. Another highlight is the hauntingly beautiful version of the theme from The Phantom, which showcases the Harmonicats' ability to create a mood and atmosphere with their music.

About Jerry Murad's Harmonicats

Jerry Murad's Harmonicats were an American harmonica-based group. Originally they were named The Harmonica Madcaps and the group consisted of Jerry Murad (chromatic lead harmonica), Bob Hadamik (bass harmonica), Pete Pedersen (chromatic), and Al Fiore, (chord harmonica). They reformed later as a trio with Murad, Fiore, and bass harmonica player Don Les. Pederson and Gail Wallace remained contributors to the group throughout its existence, working on arrangements and occasionally recording. Their 1947 recording of "Peg O' My Heart" brought them to public attention and sold over one million copies by 1950, reaching #1 on the U.S. Billboard chartn

My parents had this album....loved listening to it back then.
I had it when I was in the military. I loved it along with the album Call Me by Chris Montez.
