I'm 16 and I love this kind of music music nowadays is pretty bad
This is a beautiful, yet sad ballad. The lyrics are great and it's a period piece. Note the same type of Latin styled string backgrounds the Drifters used in their several Doc Pomus penned hits. The creativity of these composers and arrangers was boundless. Who'd think a piece that combines a Latin sound, soul singing and tympani drums, normal for a symphony orchestra, would sound so great?
An all-time classic. Absolutely love it. Thanks for the post :-) !
fun to play on guitar!
I'm someone born during the 1980's but even I prefer this must to today's
another top ten favorite great vocalist walking the streets of philly everyone was singing this song
the vocal skills of this man! puts modern singers to shame.
Fantastic...
Always liked this, good song
Is it just me or does all rock music from the 50/60's sound exactly the same? And is it just me or do all the band names sound exactly the same? The Jarmels. The Randels. The Clandels. The Shandells. The Fandells. The Dandells. The Jandells.
there will never be music like this again
Robert Cray brought me here. Great song....I hear why he liked it.

We knew the music back then was great but who knew that 50 years later it would sound and feel just as good or even better. Couldn't have been born at a better time!
