Ms. Olivor's holiday collection isn't the usual collection of commercial Santa Claus material. Instead, she lends her unique vocal talents to a few familiar winter tunes, traditional carols, a Chanukah song (she IS Jewish), a madrigal, and a couple of unrelated pop songs including a cover of "Elusive Butterfly" that was probably a leftover track from her previous album, LOVE DECIDES, but no matter. Jane Olivor doesn't merely sing the songs on the eleven tracks on this album; she interprets them, embracing the words of the lyricists with each note. This is a holiday album for adults, so get the kiddies a copy of HOLIDAY SING-ALONG WITH MITCH and enjoy this one to escape the hustle and bustle of the holiday shopping season! You'll be so glad you did!
