Burning Love, the fifth studio album by American alternative rock band Hole, was released in 1998. The album features a more polished and pop-oriented sound compared to previous releases, and is often credited as the band's most commercially successful album.
The album's lead single and title track, "Celebrity Skin," became a hit and received critical acclaim for its catchy melody and lyrics. "Malibu" and "Awful" were also popular singles from the album, showcasing the band's ability to write radio-friendly rock songs.
Despite its commercial success, Burning Love received mixed reviews from critics. Some praised the album's pop sensibilities and catchy hooks, while others criticized the band's departure from their earlier grunge sound.
