Comments
Such a beautiful voice.
Still warms my heart plus a laugh
A song to be danced with the loved one, cheek to cheek, heart to heart, soul to soul!!
Funny version
I've always loved the old standards and Harry killed it on this album. I'd always wanted to learn the words to some of these songs and this did it. Linda Ronstadt made an album in this genre and it was just as great as this one
Nilsson was the first White --other than Dusty -- to bare his soul, no holes barred.
I just wanna thank whatever powers that be that brought this magnificent album into my life when I was fifteen and turned me into a hopeless romantic.
Muito bom! <3
Wonderful
Excellent singer with great songs to enjoy.Oui.
I watched this on UK television in the 1970's -and thought "He makes it look so easy".He sang effortlessly, and so well.I love the fact that every song has another intro: that belongs to another song.Such fun.The arrangements are wonderful on this album and this song has to be one of my favourites,if only because he sings it so straight, whilst being so obviously not.
Nice !
"when you stand up, your hands touch the floor"
Who would give this a thumbs down? The Beatles revered him as one of the greatest of all time!
...Harry Nilsson,....a voice to behold..forever Arranger Gordon Jenkins..
