This song was first done in 1942 by Sammy Kaye, and later done by the Andrews Sisters, this is probably the best version of the two by the Harptones.

When you look up "Doo-Wop" in the dictionary you see a photo of the Harptones.
If I were to write my own dictionary I'd list this song as the definition of DooWop.
You don't have to be religious to appreciate the exquisite beauty of this song. Willie Winfield's vocals ring out with such unbelievable clarity and range they're almost superhuman. His is a voice for the ages. Incomparable!!!
