The album Sweet One Whos Sorry Now by Happy Six is a delightful collection of classic swing and jazz tunes. The band's infectious energy and tight musicianship shine through on each track, making it impossible not to tap your toes and hum along.

From the upbeat opener "Sing, Sing, Sing" to the sultry "Fever," Happy Six shows off their versatility and range. The arrangements are lively and fun, with plenty of room for each member to showcase their skills.

The standout track is undoubtedly the title song "Sweet One Whos Sorry Now." The band's rendition of this timeless classic is pure joy, with its catchy melody and playful lyrics.

About The Happy Six

Organised by band contractor , this group recorded extensively for Columbia between 1919 and 1923, employing some of the most important names of the jazz and dance band world of the time, including Rudy Wiedoeft, Ross Gorman, Clyde Doerr, Bennie Krueger, Earl Oliver, Clarence Gransie, Ted Fiorito, Phil Ohman, and xylophonists Joe and George Hamilton Green. Most importantly, some of their records feature pioneer New Orleans musicians Alcide Nunez and Tom Brown, being the first made by the latter - a key figure in both the earliest New Orleans bands to move to the North and also the New Orleans revival of the 1940s.
