Gyða Valtýsdóttir's album Evolution is a stunning display of the Icelandic artist's musical prowess. Featuring a blend of classical and experimental sounds, the album takes listeners on a journey through a range of emotions.

The tracks on Evolution are hauntingly beautiful, with Gyða's cello playing taking center stage. Her unique style of playing is both delicate and powerful, and she effortlessly weaves together a range of musical influences to create a sound that is entirely her own.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Visions of a Landscape," which features Gyða's cello accompanied by haunting vocals and a sparse, atmospheric backing track. The result is a mesmerizing piece of music that is both haunting and beautiful.

Another standout track is "New Beginnings," which features a more upbeat tempo and a driving rhythm that showcases Gyða's ability to create music that is both complex and accessible.

Lovely JFDR is wonderful so is gyda
Beautiful Gyda you're so so inspiring!
Very good, but not to be confused with the King Crimson song. Both are great.
I've watched this live in Iceland and I like this song so much... Keep going GYDA
this song is so important to me, 2018 was the year my tastes really started developing and I started listening to much more obscure music, I was just entranced by this song and it's otherworldly beauty. Thank you so much gyda
fascinating...
Album of the year, utterly bewitching
Absolutely beatiful
Replay, replay, replay. Amazing song; waiting impatiently to hear more!
As a father to a daughter I can confirm that nothing tops being a girl dad. Your daughter's love means more to a man than anything on this planet
Una bella famiglia sono Ragnar e Gyda la mia famiglia ??
Yeah, let's be honest no matter what would have happened in the end the loss Gyda was just to much for Ragnar and Lagertha to take. They were never really the same again and for most couples that lose a child the relationship doesn't survive. It just hurts way too much. The exploration, the excitement, the light that made the vikings seem so alive and gave off that feeling every episode, that light and life died with Gyda for her parents. Anyone else notice every other little girl died in the show after that too? Gyda, Loki's daughter, Bjorn's daughter Siggy, Tanaruz after Helga tried to adopt her.
I know she was killed off early but it brought alot of emotions. And we saw a sincere and sane ragnar.
Damn this is so emotional! well made man it was perfect!

Gyda was his first daughter, and I think Ragnar loved her more than any of his other children.
Gyda is the real MVP
As much as I like Ragnar’s move-forward attitude, I have to say the one disappointing thing was how he never really references Gyda after her death, and it seemed out of character for him.
Obv he had a love for Athelstan which is why he references back to him all the time, but the amount of pride he has in his children makes it odd that losing Gyda wasn’t as traumatizing. I mean look how he acted with Aslaug when the OG Siggy died?Especially since Gyda could’ve literally done anything from being a shield maiden, to being a princess, to being a farmers wife and Ragnar would’ve probably 100% supported her unlike Bjorn, who needs to prove himself.
I also think the lack of care for Bjorn’s daughter would’ve been a bigger issue to Ragnar. I thought for sure he would’ve seen Gyda through little Siggy, and would’ve placed a lot of importance on her life, like gaining back the daughter he lost. But that’s just my opinion.
Wich episode was this
I did mine. Nyah
She is him perl
?????????
I really want someone like her as my sister... Coz I don't have a sister
единая россия я вас грызть буду
What did the poor girl die of??
Oh God the cheesy music ruined this entire video you minus well have made a gyda photo Montague with the eyes of an angel song playing in the background lol I despise u for ruining this scene for me by making it unbearably cringe
