Review by Miroslav Hlavička

Lisanga Ya Banganga is an album that showcases the incredible talents of Grand Maître Franco and Seigneur Rochereau. The album is a masterpiece of Congolese rumba music, featuring intricate guitar work, soaring vocals, and a tight rhythm section that keeps the music moving forward.

From the opening track, "Mabele," it's clear that Lisanga Ya Banganga is something special. The song is a classic rumba tune, with Franco's guitar providing a beautiful counterpoint to Rochereau's vocals. The rest of the album is just as impressive, with tracks like "Matinda" and "Nadina" showcasing the musicians' ability to create complex, layered music that still manages to be incredibly catchy and danceable.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Kinsiona," which features some of the most beautiful guitar work on the album. The song builds slowly, with Rochereau's vocals leading the way, before exploding into a joyful, upbeat chorus that's impossible not to dance to.
