Review by Vicki James, PMP, CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM

Pourin It All Out by Graham Parker and The Rumour is an exceptional album that showcases the band's unique sound and Parker's powerful vocals. The album features a mix of rock, soul, and punk influences, with each track standing out in its own right.

The opening track, "Empty Lives," sets the tone for the album with its catchy guitar riffs and upbeat tempo. "Thunder and Rain" is a standout track that showcases Parker's soulful vocals and the band's ability to create a powerful, emotional ballad.

Other notable tracks include "Love Without Greed," a fast-paced punk-inspired song that showcases the band's energy and Parker's ability to deliver biting lyrics. "Pourin' It All Out" is a slower, bluesy track that highlights Parker's range as a vocalist and the band's ability to create a hauntingly beautiful melody.

Spot On! Brinsley!
A truly great song, the hook is magnificent
Great Rock. The Album Heat Treatment is still one of my favourites. Concise, rich of variety and without gimmicks.
Was an American college student spending Spring 1977 in England. This BBC show was recorded on March 17. Saw this tour with GP and the Rumour twice in Bristol(March 8) and Birmingham(March 24) with Southside Johnny/Jukes as the opening act. Amazing double bill. Tix were about $ 4 US. Those were the days.
Classic!
BEST KEPT SECRET IN THE WEST!
One of the greatest songs of the 70's. Surely nobody can argue with that! Saw him live in 1978 with The Rumour and this was the last track they played. I've been to hundred's of gigs in my life but I can honestly say that the concert at Leicester De Montfort Hall that night is my top 5 of all time.
Graham Parker is so unbelievably talented. I guess if he didn't have mercury poisoning and was 6 inches taller he could have found big fame in the US. Our loss. Can you imagine anyone singing this song but Graham? Very nice guy too.

Yeah its cold and hot and the rain came tumbling down like a wild December night
